I was born and grew up in Mexico City
I read Chemistry and Food Science at University
My husband and I met at the ‘Hand of God’ match in the Aztec Stadium in Mexico amongst 90 000+ souls!
Moved to the UK in 1989
Worked in the food industry in new product development and marketing for 10 years
Afterwards I opened a cafe and a juice bar in north London
Then I decided to go solo and live off my knowledge on ‘All Things Food’
My second degree is a BA in Humanities and Hispanic Studies from Birkbeck College, University of London
I will be a student again at SOAS doing an MA in Anthropology of food
I like cycling, jogging, badminton, gardening, reading and being cooked for!
I have completed a half marathon and have cycled the Negev dessert in Israel
